The corner

Chicky (who is 15 months old today) is certainly a scream. Tell him he's naughty and he'll toddle of to the corner, have a giggle and toddle out again. He's done it a few times now. He must think the corner must be some sort of status symbol.

Happy Anniversary

A double anniversary.. 

Firstly a belated birthday to my blog which was started April 1 last year. The flowers on the cactus are open and as I walk past I remember my first posts.

Secondly, it's the anniversary of my SO (shaggable other?) and I. Four years.

So much has changed with the kids.

Chickey is communicating a lot more. We get "pup-mmm" and "eeeer" (soft "r"). He is stumbling around like a drunken sailor. Climbing everything in sight. More importantly, he's learning to defend himself against his brother and clobber him with a hard object when the opportunity arises.

Monkey is, well, being a monkey. His speech is improving. His motor skills are pretty good. He is getting very tall and he recently taken a keen interest in his brother's arse. We are so proud.

Little miss is developing shape but not height. She is proving to be a reasonably clever cookie -- now if only she would drag herself to the loo when needed. Not only does she insist on flashing her knickers to the universe at every opportunity, but it's just that much more unpleasant when those knickers aren't clean.

The kids are almost as disgusting as the dog. How lucky am I? At least they are cute.
